OUR FOUNDERS,
Jodi Queen (right) and Lea Disney (left), began their lifelong friendship in the early 90's, where they gravitated to each other’s sense of style, humor, and their dogged ways of providing unwavering support for each other.
In 2018, they took their passions to the retail world through Matik Shop. The combination of Jodi’s extensive corporate sales background and Lea’s design and merchandising skills, made Matik an instant hit. That COVID thing, emerging changes to retail, and customer requests led them to the concierge corporate gifting world. They attribute their success to their knack for scouring and finding new, interesting, and high-quality products - and of course, their never-ending friendship.
